In my first montage I learned how to make the pictures looks like its fading from the picture and it looks cool. That is something that I didn’t know how to do but like my teacher say this is computer art you have to mess with things so you can learned more and that’s I what I did I mess with the tool and that is how I learned how to use the gradient tool. I use a lot gradient tool in this first montage to make the picture look like they are fading way. In my second montage that I did I use a lot of layer mask just to get the part that I want from the picture and than drag the picture to the background and just put it were I waned the picture. I also use the gradient tool in this project just to make one picture look like is disappearing from the background. It was so much fun learning new things and making the best in my projects.
The topic for my first montage was about fashion I sis about fashion because I like fashion a lot. I just grabbed some models from the internet and just started to mess with them. And I also chose the background of the Eiffel tower because I would like to go to Paris one day. In my second montage that o did was about the movie Dear John I pick this movie because I like romantic movies and because Tatum Channing is so cute.
Isabel, your collages are really good for a first time doing it. You did a good job in using the layer mask tool. The way you faded some images into the background gave your collages a really neat effect. The message in your collages was clear and well done. You did a good job in cropping and bringing out the color in the images to make it colorful. Your images create a good visual design.
ReplyDeleteOn the first section I gave you a 3 because you did meet the expectation but it wasn’t complete. On image manipulation I gave you a 3 because you used the colors and tools correctly and how it’s supposed to be. On the actual collage I gave you a 3 because your message was clear and to the point. Your paragraphs were well done and explained clearly what you had done in your montages so I gave a 3 as well. You used more than three alterations which is really good.
Image: In images I gave you a five you had a point of view which was about fashion you showed that by having the different models in your collage and putting the image of Paris as it’s known to be the place where all the big fashion shows are held so the point of view was very clear. You also used layer mask which was highly important for this project and that helped make the images clear when you’re trying to create your own image. You had a good visual design. The images came together very well.
ReplyDeleteImage manipulation: for image manipulation I gave you a three because what mostly was used was the retouching tool to manipulate and focus pictures. What could have added more to it would have been if there were alterations done to the picture if you would have taken an original image and added more to it.
Collage:For your collage I gave you a five your images created a story when they all came together making the topic about fashion. You included at least three different manipulative techniques such as cropping, resizing, and selecting etc.and your photo shop images were cited correctly for being one of the first projects it was executed well and you used tools that were taught and it helped better the original image.
Reflection: For the reflection I gave you a three the paragraph could have been more precise written on how you used the different elements. The focus on the project was to use different tools to make different pictures come together as one, that was done well but telling us more about the tools that were used would have given us a better idea of how to do it ourselves. Apart from that the paragraph was written well you told us the reason why you used the picture you had on your collage and how you learned some things on your own

In both collaqes you can tell what your idea was.
In each picture its all about one thinq,which is better,if you would of done it
about difrent thinqs it would been a bit confusinq.

i think you could of used more on your collaqe. In some ares of the collaqe you used to much faddinq,you could of added more imaqes to the collaqe or not fadded as muh as you did.
My opinion on your collaqe is that it is very creative. It communicates a story to me.but it seems that you only used one technique which is the faddinq,if you used another technique your project could of look a bit better.
Your reflection on your own collaqe is very diteld,you explain all your steps which is qood.
I can tell that you knew what you were doinq and you learnd some stuff.
